VIRTUAL COUNSELING OFFICE

VIRTUAL COUNSELING OFFICE
         HELLO!!!
I would like to share an example of my virtual counseling office. It is created using google slides and Bitmoji. It is useful to engage at home students, and for in person students who would like to ask you something when they are at home after school or at weekend.

The virtual office is designed like my real office in the school. Each item in the office is connected to a link with resources for students. You can change the links depending on what each student needs. For example, the pillow in the couch is for students who need to overcome some personal difficulty. Depending on what they are going through, I connect the pillow with different links with different information and strategies for them to practice. The mirror with the 3 questions, is for students who need counseling to achieve some goal or plan some action. The symbol of Ying-Yang is for students who need counseling for self-growth and balance. The metronome connects with activities for Social and Emotional Development. My Bitmoji connects with my professional profile for parents to know me better.

I change each link with activities/resources depending on what each student needs and save it in a PDF that I send to my students. This way, each student has his own personalized counseling office and can open the activities/strategies according to what they need each time.

You can also make your Bitmoji move to interact with your students, and create personalized counseling offices for teachers too.

Likewise, this is also a great resource for teachers to create their virtual classrooms and provide students with resources, homework, etc...

In the following links, you can find tutorials to make your virtual counseling office or your virtual classroom.

Enjoy the process!!!!
